Confused now!!?
History - Yesterday took my Citreon picasso to the car wash,then put some fuel in it and replaced back brake light as it was out. Car started juddering and misfiring so took to garage which has really good rep and has repaired my car before now. He said would be either faulty sparks or coil pack but both looked at today and not a problem. Now have to take back tomorrow as he is going to look at fuel injector? But me being me have looked on internet and came across something where someone had had faulty brake light switch and this caused fuel injector probs. Seems like too much of a coincidence to me when just replaced brake light but dont want to offend mechanic by suggesting this as know nothing about cars. Any thoughts.
PS - Cant really afford the cost of diagnostic test atm but will if have to

Your brake light has nothing to do with the misfire that seems to be present on your car.I still think this problem is caused by water ingress into some part of the electrical system probably where two contacts are not insulated like the connections on a relay.If your mechanic can isolate the problem to one injector then he has a good chance of locating the fault.I know that on citroen relays they had a problem with poor quality connections on the plug which connected to the injectors this caused misfires and the engine warning light to come on,this required a new engine bay harness to be fitted unless you had a spare harness and could splice a good piece into it.Locating the bad connection could usually be done by having the engine ticking over(misfiring obviously) and wiggling the wiring and plug to each injector in turn,finding the one that made the engine pick up(run better).Its not really a fault that you can locate yourself without diagnostics but as you said you cant afford it at the moment so i hope your lucky and it turns out to be something cheap.
