I just bought a bonsi tree, how often should i water it? when should i take off the wire around it?

Like any plant, you water it when it is dry. Just feel the soil for moisture and if there isn't any then it's time to water. I can't say exactly when because it depends on the size of pot, light, and humidity. As for the wires, I would suggest you leave them until your plant is mature and well established. They branches that are wired should be thick and woody before removing.
